Following the success of the first public show in 2010 the Alvis Fighting Vehicle Society and the Birmingham & West Midlands Area MVT have committed to make this a national annual event for the August Bank Holiday. This years show will be over 3 days, 25th 26th & 27th August. The show includes tracked armour, military vehicles of all periods. There are two display arenas, huge pyrotechnic and blank firing tank displays, food stalls, beer tent, evening entertainment, Saturday & Sunday, plenty of camping space, militaria stalls and more. MVT Area displays welcomed. Not leaving the rest of the family out that may not be interested in military vehicles we have a fun fair, cake stalls, card stalls, sweet stalls and lots of other bits and bobs going on the keep the whole family entertained. This year we have two very special attractions, not only will the recently acquired Challenger 1 tank will be on show for the first time to the public, the Wall of Death motorcycle display will be at the Dunchurch show as well We have a dedicated disabled parking area for blue badge holders and suitable rest room facilities, however please note the show is located on grassed area and there may be certain parts of the field that are uneven. Gates open at 10am, entry £7 adults, £3.50 kids & OAP's , under 5's go free. Easy access off the A45 and M45. Just follow the show signs. |
